Sage's Jed Kubisch earns Skyline Rookie of the Week honors
Troy, NY--Sage's rookie men's volleyball player Jed Kubisch (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem) earned Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week honors on March 8. The selection was his third of the year. In five matches last week, Kubisch averaged 3.00 kills along with 2.25 digs per set for The Sage Colleges. Kubisch recorded two double-doubles in the five matches. Against Purchase, he hit .281 (12-3-32) with 12 kills and 12 digs. He added a team-leading 19 kills along with 13 digs in a 3-1 loss to Yeshiva. The rookie currently ranks sixth in the conference with 3.22 kills per set.
