Sage College Facilities
Sage student-athletes have access to three seperate facilities in various locations throughout The Sage Colleges.
Neff Athletic Center
The Jeanne H. Neff Athletic Center, located approximately half a mile from Russell Sage College, includes two gymnasiums as well as state of the art strength and condition rooms. Behind the NAC is the Robison Softball Field, built in 2008 and the softball team played its inaugrual game on April 3, 2009.
Robison Athletic Center
Since 1983, The Ellis H. and Doris B. Robison Athletic Center has been home to the Russell Sage College Gators and its main recreation facility. The facility includes two gymnasiums, locker rooms, the Gator Pit Weight and Fitness Center, and a multi-purpose room.
Kahl Campus Center
In Albany, the Sage community utilizes Kahl Gymnasium and The FitStop. The FitStop features weight training facilities, including a free weight station, a complete Cybex Eagle strength training circuit, in addition to Precor cardio equipment. The Fit Stop will enjoy a grand reopening on August 31.

More About the Fitstop
The Fitstop at Sage College of Albany just keeps getting better. After celebrating the grand opening with a ceremonious ribbon cutting by President Neff in mid-October of 2003, The Fitstop has taken off. With the addition of a new stength circuit, usage has continued to grow.
Located on the lower level of the Kahl Campus Center, The Fitstop is home to 10 pieces of cardio equipment, including a Precor EFX546 Cross Trainer, a Precor EFX556 Total Body, an upright bike, a recumbant bike, a Lifefitness Treadmill, a Precor Treadmill and two Concept II Rowers, as well as a newly added Cybex Eagle Strength Circuit made up of 11 machines and a free weight section. Other ammenities at The Fitstop include 2 color televisions with cable, a stereo, 52 square feet of mirrors, lockers, and stability balls and discs.
Alumni of The Sage Colleges may also purchase a membership to The Fitstop.

The Gator Pit
After recent renovations, the Gator Pit, Russell Sage's on campus fitness center, is better than ever! The Gator Pit offers members of the Sage Community a complete cardio center, including treadmills, ellipticals, upright bikes, recumbant bikes, steppers and rowers, as well as a life fitness strength circuit and a free weight section. Aside from new cardio equipment the Gator Pit's renovations also included the addition of a stretching/core stability area where students can improve their flexibility and work on their core strength.
If you haven't visited the Gator Pit yet, don't miss out on seeing what everyone is talking about! One visit and you will be hooked!
