Sage dropped a 3-0 decision to Bard, before posting a 3-1 win over NYU-Poly.
Brooklyn, NY----The Sage Colleges men's volleyball team travelled to NYU-Poly for a Skyline Conference tri-match with Bard College. Bard College tallied a 3-0 win over the host Fighting Blue Jays of NYU-Poly and then beat Sage 3-0. Sage wrapped the day with a 3-1 win over the hosts, NYU-Poly. Sage stands at 3-10 overall and 2-5 in the conference.

Against Bard, Sage's rookie Anthony Gerace (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia) added 21 setting assists for the Gators in the match with six digs and a pair of unassisted blocks and two block assists. Middle hitter Jed Kubisch (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem) added nine kills with seven digs. Sage's freshman Kyle Ray (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) had eight kills with 10 digs.
In the match with NYU-Poly the Gators posted the win behind the play of Kubisch as he had 33 digs with 19 kills. Gerace added 38 setting assists with 11 digs and four blocks. Ray added a double-double with 17 kills and 19 digs.
The Gators will return to action on Sunday, February 21 hosting Southern Vermont College and Yeshiva University in a tri-match in the Kahl Campus Center. Sage faces Southern Vermont at 11:00 a.m., before Yeshiva and Southern Vermont face one another at 1 p.m. Sage faces Yeshiva University at 3 p.m. in Skyline Conference match to close the action.
