Sage falls to No. 13 ranked Ramapo on Tuesday

 

Mahwah, NJ----The Sage Colleges men's volleyball team travelled to Ramapo College on Tuesday night for a NECVA match. Ranked 13 in the latest NECVA poll, Ramapo tallied the 3-0 win to improve to 13-6 overall, while Sage drops to 5-13.

Sage's rookie Anthony Gerace (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia) added 12 setting assists for the Gators in the match with two digs, and a block. Rookie middle hitter Jed Kubisch (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem) added four kills with a dig, while freshman Kyle Ray (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) racked up eight kills with three digs. Rookie Ryan Couch (Nyskyauna, NY/Colonie) tallied two digs with a kill and three total blocks in the match.

The Gators will return to action on Saturday, March 6 when they travel to Purchase College for a tri-match with Stevens. The Gators will be back in action on Sunday, March 7 at New Jersey City University for a tri-match with Yeshiva University.
