Directions to Sage Athletics Venues for 2012-2013
Neff Athletic Center and Robison Softball Field in Troy (Basketball, Softball, and Women's Volleyball)
*IF USING MAPQUEST OR A GPS PLEASE USE 1010 Fifth Avenue, Troy, NY 12180 for the Neff Center.
From the South:
Take exit 23 off the New York State Thruway, which will lead you directly onto Rt.787 North. Proceed on Rt. 787 North. See directions from Rt. 787 below.
From the West:
Take exit 24 off the New York State Thruway, which will lead directly onto Interstate 90 east. Follow signs for Rt. 787 North. Proceed on Rt. 787 North. See directions from Rt. 787 below.
From the East: at the western end of the Massachusetts Turnpike, continue straight on the New York State Thruway to exit for Troy - B1. After you have taken exit B1, follow signs for 90 West. Take 90 West to exit for Rt. 787 North. Proceed on Rt. 787 North. See directions from Rt. 787 below.
From the North:
Take I-87 South to Exit 7, Rt. 7 East. Take Rt. 7 East to the exit ramp marked "Downtown Troy," staying in left side of the two lane exit. This becomes 6th Street. Stay on 6th Street until the end, approximately 1/2 mile, one block past Police Station, which will be on your right. At end, take a right on Congress Street. Stay on Congress for three blocks. Take a left at the light on 3rd Street. Stay on 3rd Street through four lights. The next light is a blinking yellow just beyond bridge over the Poestenkill River. Turn left at blinking light onto Canal Avenue (You will see the Firehouse No. 6 on the left corner). Go straight through one stop sign. At next stop sign, turn right onto Fifth Avenue and the Neff Center will be on your left.
Directions from Route 787:
Proceed on Rt. 787-North to exit 7 E (South Troy) merging onto NY -378 East. Stay in left lane. Rte 378 becomes Burden Ave. Stay on Burden past Hess station (see Burden Water wheel mural on right). Bear right at intersection for 4th Street. Turn Right onto Madison Street and take to the end; turn left onto 5th Avenue and the Neff Athletic Center will be on your right.
Prospect Park, Troy (Women's and Men’s Tennis)
From 787, exit at the 23rd Street Exit - Watervliet, Green Island. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left. Go through one blinking yellow light, continue to the second red light and turn left onto Rt. 32, heading south. Go to the first light and turn left. You will now be going over the Congress Street Bridge. Go straight through the Russell Sage College Tunnel. You will now be on Rt. 2. Continue on Rt. 2 through town, passing RPI on the left. Prospect Park will be up hill on your right.
Directions to the Kahl Center in Albany (Basketball, Volleyball, Athletic Training Room, and Locker Rooms)

FROM THE EAST
Take 1-90 to 1-787 south to the end. Go straight on Hoffman Avenue. Take a left on Second Avenue. Cross Delaware Avenue to Whitehall Road and stay left at the "V." Take a right on Marwill Street, and then cross Hackett Boulevard and go straight up Academy Road. Continue of Academy Road for approximately 0.3 miles and at the traffic light, the Kahl Campus Center will be on your right.
FROM THE NORTH
Take 1-87 (Northway) south to Western Avenue (Route 20 East) and take a left on Western. Make a right on South Manning Boulevard, and then a left on New Scotland Avenue. Then, take a right on Academy Road. Continue of Academy Road for approximately 0.3 miles and at the traffic light, the Kahl Campus Center will be on your right.
FROM THE WEST
Take Western Avenue (Route 20 East). Make a right on South Manning Boulevard, and then a left on New Scotland Avenue. Then, take a right on Academy Road. Continue of Academy Road for approximately 0.3 miles and at the traffic light, the Kahl Campus Center will be on your right.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take the New York State Thruway to either Exit 23 or 24.
From Exit 23: Take a left on Route 9W and follow around to second light. Take a right on Hoffman Avenue, and then a left on Second Avenue. Cross Delaware Avenue to Whitehall Road and stay left at the “V.” Then, take a right on Marwill Street. Cross Hackett Boulevard and go straight up Academy Road. Bethlehem Soccer Plex (Men's and Women's Soccer)

**Please note there are no locker room or changing facilities at this complex. For teams travelling needing access to a locker room, please visit the Kahl Center in Albany. (44 Academy Road, Albany, NY).
Directions from Kahl Center to SoccerPlex.
Head south on Academy Road toward Helderberg Avenue going about a half a mile turning left onto Hackett Boulevard. Proceed 1/3 of a mile taking the second right onto St. James Place. Proceed 2/10 of a mile and turn right onto Delaware Avenue. Turn left onto Southern Boulevard and stay to the left for about 2/10 of a mile and continue onto McCarty Avenue for another 2/10 of a mile. Continue onto Rt. 9 South/Southern Boulevard for 4.2 miles. Turn left onto Wemple Road and the destination will be on the left after 4/10 of a mile.
From All Directions:
Take New York State Thruway to Exit 23 (Albany).
Take the first ramp on the right after the tollbooths to Route 9W South. Follow Rt. 9W South for about 4 miles to Wemple Road. (After the first two miles you will pass through Glenmont - the intersection of 9W & Feura Bush Road where there is a Price Chopper, Tractor Supply & a Mobil Station - just stay on Rt. 9W South). At the stoplight of Rt. 9W & Wemple Road, turn left onto Wemple Road. The Soccerplex is on the left less than a 1/2 mile down.

From the South:
Take I-87, the New York State Thruway, North to Exit 23. At Exit 23, get on I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the North:
Take I-87, the Adirondack Northway, South to Exit 7 East. Get on Route 7 headed Eastbound. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the East:
From I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike, Berkshire Spur of the New York Thruway), take Exit B1. Continue East (13.5 miles) to the exit for I-787. Take I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the West:
Take I-90, the New York State Thruway, to Exit 24. From Exit 24, continue onto I-90 East. Exit onto I-787 North. Take I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
Directions RPI Campus/Renwyck Field:
From Route 7 East, make a right turn onto Burdett Street. Follow Burdett Street about 1/4 mile taking a left onto Detroit Avenue. The lower Renwyck field will be ahead on your right at the intersection of Detroit and Georgian Terrace.
Colonie Central High School Field (Men’s and Women’s Soccer)

From the North
Take I-87 south to exit 2E
Exit 2E will merge with Central Avenue East
Proceed on Central Avenue East approximately 1/2 mile and look for Hackett Ave on left, turn left onto Hackett Avenue.
Colonie Central High School is at the end of Hackett Ave and the main entrance is by the flagpole.
From the South and West
Take the thruway to exit 24. Take exit 1N to get on the Northway (87 North). Shortly after that, take exit 2E. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Proceed about 1/3 mile and look for Hackett Ave on the left, turn left onto Hackett Avenue.
Colonie Central High School is at the end of Hackett Avenue and the main entrance is by the flagpole.
From the East
Take I-90 West to exit 2 (Fuller Rd). At the end of the ramp, there will be a light. Turn right onto Fuller Road. Proceed until you get to Central Avenue. You cannot go straight anymore. Turn left onto Central Avenue. Keep in the right most lane when you get onto Central Avenue. Proceed less than 1/10 mile and look for Grace Memorials on your right hand side. Hackett Avenue will be right after that. Turn right onto Hackett Avenue. The school is at the end of Hackett Avenue.
