Directions to Sage Athletics Venues
Neff Athletic Center (Women's Basketball, Softball Field, and Women's Volleyball)
*IF USING MAPQUEST OR A GPS PLEASE PUT USE 1 Canal Avenue, Troy, NY 12180* That will take you to the front of the Neff Center.
From the South: take exit 23 off the New York State Thruway, which will lead you directly onto Rt.787 North. Proceed on Rt. 787 North. See directions from Rt. 787 below.
From the West: take exit 24 off the New York State Thruway, which will lead directly onto Interstate 90 east. Follow signs for Rt. 787 North. Proceed on Rt. 787 North. See directions from Rt. 787 below.
From the East: at the western end of the Massachusetts Turnpike, continue straight on the New York State Thruway to exit for Troy - B1. After you have taken exit B1, follow signs for 90 West. Take 90 West to exit for Rt. 787 North. Proceed on Rt. 787 North. See directions from Rt. 787 below.
From the North: Take I-87 South to Exit 7, Rt. 7 East. Take Rt. 7 East to the exit ramp marked "Downtown Troy," staying in left side of the two lane exit. This becomes 6th Street. Stay on 6th Street until the end, approximately 1/2 mile, one block past Police Station, which will be on your right. At end, take a right on Congress Street. Stay on Congress for three blocks. Take a left at the light on 3rd Street. Stay on 3rd Street through four lights. The next light is a blinking yellow just beyond bridge over the Poestenkill River. Turn left at blinking light onto Canal Avenue (You will see the Firehouse No. 6 on the left corner). Go straight through one stop sign. At next stop sign, turn right onto Fifth Avenue and the Neff Center will be on your left.
Directions from Route 787: Proceed on Rt. 787-North to exit 7 E (South Troy) merging onto NY -378 East. Stay in left lane. Rte 378 becomes Burden Ave. Stay on Burden past Hess station (see Burden Water wheel mural on right). Bear right at intersection for 4th Street (By the Stewart's Shop--can you see the Stewarts from that intersection?).
University at Albany (Soccer)
From the North: Take Interstate 87 (Northway) south to Exit 1E. Off the exit, proceed to Interstate 90 east (Albany/Boston). Take Exit 2, Washington Avenue. Cross Washington Avenue onto campus. Follow University Drive, bearing right, one mile to Recreation & Convocation Center (RACC).
From the South: Take Interstate 87 (Thruway) north to Exit 24. After the tollbooths, proceed onto Interstate 90 east towards Boston. Take Exit 2, Washington Avenue. Cross Washington Avenue onto campus. Follow University Drive, bearing right, one mile to Recreation & Convocation Center (RACC).
From the East: Take Interstate 90 west towards Buffalo. Leave interstate at Exit 2 (Fuller Road). Turn left at Fuller Road and then take the next left at Washington Avenue. The University at Albany is on your right. Follow University Drive, bearing right, one mile to Recreation & Convocation Center (RACC).
From the West: Take Interstate 90 (Thruway) east to Exit 24. After the tollbooths, proceed onto Interstate 90 east towards Boston. Take Exit 2, Washington Avenue. Cross Washington Avenue onto campus. Follow University Drive, bearing right, one mile to Recreation & Convocation Center (RACC).
As you approach the RACC, parking is to the right of the building (south side of the arena). You will see the Soccer Fields to your right as you are pulling into the parking lot.
Siena College (Soccer)
From the North Take Exit 5 (NY 155) off the Northway (I-87). Left on NY 155 to US 9. Right on US 9 for two miles. Turn east off of US 9 onto Spring Street Road. Take a left at the fourth driveway.
From the South Take Exit 23 (I-787) off the New York Thruway. Follow I-787 to I-90 West. Take Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville, first exit off I-90). Follow US 9 north approximately two miles. Turn east off of US 9 onto Spring Street Road. Take a left at the fourth driveway.
From the East off the Massachusetts Turnpike Take the New York Thruway to Exit B-1 (I-90 West). Follow I-90 to Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville). Follow US 9 north approximately two miles. Turn east off of US 9 onto Spring Street Road. Take a left at the fourth driveway.
From the West Take Exit 24 (Northway I-87) off the New York Thruway. Follow I-87 North to Exit 5 (NY 155). Left on US 155 to US 9. Right on US 9 for two miles. Turn east off of US 9 onto Spring Street Road. Take a left at the fourth driveway.
Directions to Stillwater High School (334 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, NY 12170)
From Sage College (45 Ferry Street, Troy, NY)
Go East in Ferry Street/NY Rt. 2 East toward US-Route 4 South. Turn left onto 4th Street/US- Route 4 North. Continue on US Route 4 North for approximately 4 ½ miles. Turn right onto 3rd Street, US-Route 4/NY Route 32. Continue on Rt. 4/Rt. 32 for 3.8 miles and take a slight right turn onto US-Route 4, NY Route 32, NY Route 67. Continue for 3.7 miles and the school complex will be on your right. The field is tucked in the back behind the two schools.
Prospect Park, Troy (Women's Tennis)
From 787, exit at the 23rd Street Exit - Watervliet, Green Island. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left. Go through one blinking yellow light, continue to the second red light and turn left onto Rt. 32, heading south. Go to the first light and turn left. You will now be going over the Congress Street Bridge. Go straight through the Russell Sage College Tunnel. You will now be on Rt. 2. Continue on Rt. 2 through town. Prospect Park will be up hill on your right.
RPI & RPI Field (Lacrosse)
From the South: Take I-87, the New York State Thruway, North to Exit 23. At Exit 23, get on I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the North: Take I-87, the Adirondack Northway, South to Exit 7 East. Get on Route 7 headed Eastbound. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the East: From I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike, Berkshire Spur of the New York Thruway), take Exit B1. Continue East (13.5 miles) to the exit for I-787. Take I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the West: Take I-90, the New York State Thruway, to Exit 24. From Exit 24, continue onto I-90 East. Exit onto I-787 North. Take I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
Directions to Campus: From Route 7 East, make a right turn on to 15th Street. Follow 15th Street about 1/2 mile to campus. Once you're at the campus, you can park in the Visitors Information Center parking lot located just past the pedestrian bridge on your left.
Directions to the Kahl Center (Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's Volleyball)
*IF USING MAPQUEST OR A GPS PLEASE PUT: 44 Academy Road, Albany, NY 12208* That will take you to the front of the Kahl Center and the parking lot, which will be on your left.
To Albany from Troy:
Take the Watervliet-Troy (Congress Street) Bridge on Rt.7 West. At the end of the bridge, turn right and follow signs to Rt. 787 South. Exit in Albany on Rt. 20 West (Madison Avenue). Follow Rt. 20 (Madison) up the hill past the Empire State Plaza to Washington Park (On your right.) Turn left on New Scotland Avenue. Sage's College of Albany will be on the left, just past the Armory. Turn left onto Academy Road and a left into the parking lot at the intersection of Heidelberg Road and Academy Road (light).
