Sage's Kyle Ray tapped as Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week
Troy, NY---For the third straight week, Sage's men's volleyball program has produced the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. This week, the honor was bestowed to rookie hitter Kyle Ray (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads).
Ray averaged 4.28 kills and 4.00 digs per set to lead the Gators in Skyline Conference matches against Mount Saint Vincent and NYU-Poly. Ray had a team-best seven kills along with 13 digs against Mount Saint Vincent. He then recorded season-highs of 23 kills and 15 digs in a 3-1 loss to NYU-Poly. Ray currently leads Sage with 103 kills (3.22 per set).
