Sage's Chris Giustina named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week
Sage's defender Chris Giustina was tapped as this week's rookie of the week for his efforts last week.
Clifton Park, NY--The Sage Colleges freshman Chris Giustina (Enfield, CT/Erico Fermi) scored a pair of goals to lead the Gators to a 4-1 victory over Skyine Conference preseason favorite St. Joseph’s. Sage, a first-year program, gave up a goal in the third minute, but pulled even with a goal in the 19th minute. Giustina’s goal at the 24:00 mark put the Gators ahead to stay. He scored the only goal of the second half, in the 50th minute to seal Sage’s first conference victory.
For his efforts, he was named the Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week on September 20, 2010.
