RSC Women's Volleyball Heading to SUNY Brockport on Saturday for an E8 Tournament Quarterfinal
ALBANY, N.Y. – After playing on Halloween as part of the final weekend of the regular season, Russell Sage College Women's Volleyball returns to SUNY Brockport on Saturday afternoon, this time for an Empire 8 Conference Championship Tournament Quarterfinal.

RSC Women's Volleyball in the E8 Championship Tournament History: With the October 24 3-2 win at Elmira, RSC clinched a return trip to the Empire 8 Conference Championship Tournament for the second-straight fall…The Gators qualified for the E8 playoffs for the first time in program history in 2024.
Head Coach Rosilyn Cummings after Qualifying for the Playoffs: ""I'm really proud of how the girls battled all weekend. We were down 2-1 against Elmira and 2-0 against Keuka and came back and won both games. I am super proud of the growth of the group over this weekend and we're really excited that we clinched the playoff berth."
Gator Bites with Papa John's: Seven players return this season, including: senior opposite Aniyah Kelley (Newcastle, DE/William Penn) and senior outside hitter Ashleigh Gerkman (Valatie, NY/Ichabod Crane)…Cummings, now in her third season at the helm of the Gators, added nine newcomers to this year's squad…Gerkman was selected the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, August 31…Freshman libero Emma Curry (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills) was tabbed the E8 Rookie of the Week for the period ending Sunday, October 26…She headed into the playoffs ranked second in the Conference in digs and digs per-set, and third in both aces and aces per-set…Kelley entered the weekend fifth in the E8 with a .262 hitting percentage.
Up Next: The winner of Saturday's contest will face either Utica or Hartwick on Wednesday in the Semifinals.
