Senior opposite Aniyah Kelley (Newcastle, DE/William Penn) and junior setter Cassidy Weiher (Aurora, CO/Cherokee Trail/Southern Maine) topped the Gators (11-12/6-4 E8) with seven kills apiece. Weiher, who hit .333, registered six assists, four digs, and one ace, while Kelley hit .316 and blocked one Golden Eagle attack.
Freshman outside hitter Paige Kemmer (Voorheesville, NY/Clayton A. Bouton) added six kills on .267 hitting, while freshman libero Emma Curry (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills), announced as the E8 Rookie of the Week on Monday, tallied 13 digs and two aces.
SUNY Brockport 16-7/9-1 E8), now winners of nine in-a-row, received eight or more kills from three different players to secure hosting privileges for an E8 Tournament Quarterfinal.
The Gators, heading to the E8 Tournament for the second-straight autumn, conclude the regular season on Saturday afternoon at SUNY Geneseo.
