Newburgh, NY---The Gator women travelled to Mt. Saint Mary College for a night Skyline Conference women's soccer match. The Knights tallied the 2-0 win to improve to 9-2-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in the conference, while Sage falls to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the league.
The two teams were knotted at the break before the Knights' Kelly Cirimello converted her corner kick for the goal at 77:25. Moments later, Marissa Segreto added an insurance goal for MSMC.
MSMC's Jacquelyn Mancini recorded the shutout win with her one save, while Sage's senior Brittany McDonald (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) took the loss with 10 saves in the contest.
The Gators return to action on October 7 hosting Farmingdale State at 4 p.m. in a Skyline Conference match at Bethlehem SoccerPlex.
