Thompson Earns Conference Rookie Of The Week Honors
Lawrenceville, NJ - Skyline Conference commissioner Tracy King announced Monday evening that Freshman attack Brianna Thompson (Mason, OH) earned rookie of the week honors in the programs first week of competition after its return to varsity status for the first time in 20 years.
Lawrenceville, NJ - Skyline Conference commissioner Tracy King announced Monday evening that Freshman attack Brianna Thompson (Mason, OH) earned rookie of the week honors in the programs first week of competition after its return to varsity status for the first time in 20 years.
Thompson scored a goal and picked up four ground balls against Wilkes in the program’s first game. She contributed three goals, three ground balls and four draw controls the following day in a 19-8 loss to Alvernia. Thompson now has four goals and seven ground balls on the season.
Thompson and the rest of the Gators return to the field Saturday, March 28th when they travel to Mount Saint Vincent for their first Skyline Conference match-up.
