Wick competes for Gators at Ron Stonitsch Invitational

Poughkeepsie, NY—The Sage Colleges' men's cross country team travelled to Vassar College on Saturday to compete in the Ron Stonitsch Invitational. The host Vassar Brewers won the race with a team score of 24 points and had the top finisher who posted a personal best effort with his time of 19:32.5 on the 6 k course. Vassar's Peter Ferretter won the race in a field of 70 runners.

For Sage's men's team junior Jarryd Wick (Ayers, MA/E.F. Parker School) finished in 66th place with his time of 25:30.6 on the race.

Next up Sage, the Gators will be back in action on September 29 at the Saratoga Invitational hosted by RPI at Saratoga State Park.
