ELMIRA, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Basketball continued Empire 8 Conference play by falling 74-54 at Elmira.
The Gators had two scorers in double figures, as senior guard Layla Acosta (Haines City, FL/Haines City) scored 17 and junior forward Kallie Hopkins (Millsboro, DE/Poly Tech) added twelve.
They each brought down five rebounds, while Acosta tallied three assists and Hopkins added a block and a steal.
Elmira (7-5/2-1 E8) was led by Amarionah Dixon, who scored a game-high 21 points.
RSC (7-5/2-1 E8) hosts SUNY Poly on Tuesday.
