Gators Excel in the Paint in Road Victory

The Gators, which led for the final 23:14, tallied 36 points in the paint and held a 47-34 advantage on the boards in the road win.
Forward Kallie Hopkins (Millsboro, DE/Poly Tech) spearheaded the RSC effort, tallying a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds. Both outputs were career-highs for the junior.
Senior guard Layla Acosta (Haines City, FL/Haines City) added 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting, while guard Kyla Smith (Sprakers, NY/Fonda-Fultonville/Fredonia)
Sophomore guard Sequoia Turcotte Briggs topped USJ (0-3) with 23 points on 8-of-18 shooting.
RSC (3-1) hosts SUNY Canton on Saturday afternoon.
