Bowman earns second straight Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week selection
New York, NY---The Sage Colleges' rookie guard Megan Bowman (Saranac, NY/Saranac) was named the Rookie of the Week by the Skyline Conference for the second week in a row.
The Gators' newcomer had an impressive week and helped the team to a 3-0 week along the way as they opened play with a 60-55 win over the College of Staten Island on December 4, then beat Purchase 79-49 on December 7. The week was capped on December 10 with a 59-34 win over Bard on the road.

Bowman wins the award for the 2nd straight week after leading the Gators to a 2-0 week…She had a great game in a league win over Purchase, with a game-high 17 pts. (7-11 FG), 4 reb., 6 assists, and a steal.
The Gators return to action after the exam and holiday break when they visit nearby Union College on January 4 in a 7 p.m. non-conference match-up.
