Tyler Chosen the E8 Player of the Week
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Softball junior Annalise Tyler (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) was chosen the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 15.
The infielder slashed .462/.654/.533 during the team's season-opening trip to Florida. She scored eight runs, tallied four RBI, laced three doubles, and totaled 17 bases. Tyler, who was voted second-team All-E8 last season, registered four multi-hit efforts and stole four bases across the eight games.
RSC (4-4) is slated to make its New York State debut with a Thursday afternoon doubleheader at RPI.
