Gators Split Thursday Doubleheader
Russell Sage College Softball continued their Spring Break trip by splitting a doubleheader on Thursday, defeating Dean 7-2 before falling 12-1 to Loras.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Russell Sage College Softball continued their Spring Break trip by splitting a doubleheader on Thursday, defeating Dean 7-2 before falling 12-1 to Loras.
Five Gators had a pair of hits in the win over Dean (1-6). Junior Annalise Tyler (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) drove in three runs on a triple, while junior Emily O'Keefe (Albany, NY/Albany) drove in two runs on two singles.
Senior Emma Heartquist (Stuyvesant, NY/Ichabod Crane) had two hits and drove in a run, while juniors Katie Call (Antwerp, NY/Indian River/Jefferson County CC) and Izabelle Ratcliffe (Cohoes, NY/Shaker/HVCC) each had two hits.
Senior pitcher Bailey Catlin (Petersburg, NY/Berlin/Saint Rose) continued RSC's strong pitching efforts punching out ten Bulldogs across the complete game without surrendering an earned run.
In game two, the Duhawks scattered 12 runs across the first three innings while holding the Gators to just one.
The lone RSC run came off an RBI single by Call in the third inning.
