High-Powered RSC Offense Outscores Host Hawks 103-96

The Gators (16-2/8-1 E8), which had a season-high for points, closed the road victory on a 9-1 run and had five players score in twin figures.
Junior center Khalel Noteman (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie) topped RSC, off to its best start ever, with 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting and four rebounds.
Junior Adam Myers (Troy, NY/LaSalle Institute/Saint Rose) tallied double digits for the third time in the past four games, going for a career-high 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting. The guard added eight assists, five rebounds and four steals.
Senior guard Brandon Harris (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton/Herkimer CC), announced as the E8 Player of the Week on Monday, contributed 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
Sophomore guard Kyle Dhu (Ozone Park, NY/Brooklyn Law and Tech) and junior guard Pape Tunkara (Mount Vernon, NY/Iona Prep/Genesee CC) rounded out the Gators in double figures, netting 13 and 10 points respectively. Dhu blocked a pair of Hartwick shots and dished out four assists, while Tunkara knocked down 50 percent of his shots.
Hartwick (7-11/1-8 E8), now on a four-game slide, erased a 15-point first half deficit to trail by three, 54-51, at the break. The Hawks hung with the high-powered RSC offense for much of the final 20 minutes. After Hartwick took its lone lead of the night, 95-94, with 2:56 left, the Gators, which top the Conference in scoring at 86.6 points per-game, ran off the next seven points.
Freshman guard Robby Lucas registered 22 points on 5-of-16 shooting, eight assists, and five rebounds to pace the hosts.
Looking ahead, the Gators play on Friday night at SUNY Brockport.
