Gators Move to 5-0 for the First Time in Program History
NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men’s Basketball moved to 5-0 for the first time in program history thanks to this evening's 85-74 non-conference victory at Mount Saint Mary College.

The Gators, which led for the final 21:21, had four players tally double figures in the road triumph.
Senior guard Brandon Harris (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton/Herkimer CC) topped all participants with 19 points, while junior guard Pape Tunkara (Mount Vernon, NY/Iona Prep/Genesee CC) and junior guard Deavion Springsteen (Albany, NY/Albany) added 15 points apiece. Springstreen, who went 5-of-8 from the field, contributed four assists and two steals.
Junior center Khalel Noteman (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie) registered 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
Senior guard Matthew Walsh paced MSMC (2-3), which shot 53.6 percent from the field, with 14 points.
RSC (5-0) got out to a 21-13 lead, only for the Knights to answer with a 17-7 run to trail by just five, 39-34 at the break. The Gators used a 10-0 jaunt spanning 2:19 early in the second half to gain control.
The Gators were up by at least six for the final 18:40.
RSC is back in action on Saturday and Sunday at the Union Tournament. The Gators will face Trinity on Saturday and either Union or Manhattanville on Sunday.
