Three Score in Double-Figures as Gators Move to 3-0

COBLESKILL, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Basketball moved to 3-0 with this afternoon's 85-56 road non-conference victory at SUNY Cobleskill.
The Gators, which forced the host Fighting Tigers into a 1-of-17 performance from three-point range, had three players score in double figures in Saturday's win. Sophomore Kyle Dhu (Ozone Park, NY/Brooklyn Law and Tech) led all participants with 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting. The guard grabbed five rebounds while adding a pair of assists and a pair of steals to the boxscore.
Senior guard Brandon Harris (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton/Herkimer CC) and senior forward Jeremy Rosario (Albany, NY/Colonie Central/Alma) were each in double-digits as well, tallying 14 and 13 points respectively.
Rosario added a Gator-high eight rebounds, while Harris, senior guard Mike McLaughlin (Clearwater, FL/Clearwater), and senior forward Ben Aprilante (Fort Montgomery, NY/James I. O'Neil/SUNY Adirondack) all brought down six.
Harris recorded five assists and two steals, while Rosario, a former Fighting Tiger, registered three steals and two blocks.
The Gators (3-0), which led by as many as 32, closed the first half on a 23-12 run to go into the locker room up 34-24. RSC commenced the second period on a 19-0 run to pull away.
Sophomore center Andrew Wright topped SUNY Cobleskill (0-3) with 11 points.
RSC hosts Vermont State Castleton on Wednesday Night.
