Gators Finish Union Tournament With Victory Over Manhattanville

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Basketball wrapped up its two game set at the Union tournament on Sunday with an 89-68 victory over Manhattanville.
The Gators (6-1), who fell to No. 1 Trinity on Saturday, had four scorers in double figures in the win.
Junior guard Pape Tunkara (Mount Vernon, NY/Iona Prep/Genesee CC) tallied a game-high 21 points, while senior guard Brandon Harris (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton/Herkimer CC), sophomore guard Kyle Dhu (Ozone Park, NY/Brooklyn Law and Tech), and junior center Khalel Noteman (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie) added 17, 14, and ten respectively.
Tunkara grabbed a team-high nine rebounds while dishing out four assists. Senior forward Jeremy Rosario (Albany, NY/Colonie Central/Alma) and senior forward Ben Aprilante (Fort Montgomery, NY/James I. O'Neil/SUNY Adirondack) contributed on the boards, bringing down six apiece.
After a stretch of three games in six days, the Gators, which never trailed this afternoon, conclude their 2025 calendar on December 10 at home against SUNY Delhi.
