Another third place showing for Sage's women's harriers
Cazenovia, NY–Sage's women's cross country teams competed on Saturday at the Cazenovia College Homecoming Invitational. On the women's side of the race, Hartwick College won the event with a score of 48, just besting SUNY-ESF that tallied a score of 49. Sage was next with an 84 in the 9-team event.

Leading the way for Sage was rookie Alaina Krueger (Selkirk, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) as she posted a time of 21:56 and took seventh place, just ahead of teammate, senior captain Katie Fargnoli (West Islip, NY/West Islip). Fargnoli took eighth in 22:01, while freshman Kiera Warner (Chestertown, NY/North Warren) picked up 10th place in 22:3.
Freshman Amanda Millington (Chestertown, NY/North Warren) picked up 24th in 23:37. Rookie Megan Lugo (West Nyack, NY/Clarkstown South) picked up 42nd place in 25:26, while freshman Leanne Egan (Schenectady, NY/Mohonasen) took home 60th in 27:01. Junior Chelsea Weber (Wyantskill, NY/Tamarac) finished in 27:48 and picked up 65th place.
Next up for Sage is the Green Mountain College Invitational on October 13.
