ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Soccer continued their push towards the Empire 8 Conference Championship Tournament with a 4-0 victory over Houghton on Saturday.

Freshman midfielder Mateusz Junior Cwalina (Shirley, NY/Longwood) added another just over halfway into the second half to push the RSC lead to two.
RSC wasn't done at 2-0, as Martilotta added two more. The forward scored his second off an assist from Cwalina and a third off a penalty shot, marking the junior's first hat trick of his career.
Senior goalkeeper Aiden Van Oostveen (Westfield, MA/Westfield) (3-0-0) stopped all four Highlander shots on the way to his first clean sheet of the season.
"Everyone played with so much intensity from the first whistle," shared Martilotta following the victory. "We were firing on all cylinders, attacking on defense, Vano (Van Oostveen) gets his first clean sheet of the year, it was a great game."
The Gators are back on the pitch on Wednesday as they wrap up their regular season at home against Hartwick.
