Gators take home 10th at Saint Rose Fall Shoot Out
Guilderland, NY--The Sage College's men's golf team competed on Saturday at the College of Saint Rose Fall Shoot Out held at Pinehaven Country Club. The Gators finished in 10th place with score for the two rounds of 679, while Division II Concordia College won the team scoring a 617 on the par 71, 6,574 yard course.
Finishing as the medalist was Concordia's Sam Deitte, who finished with a 144 (70-74).
Sage's leading player was junior Richie Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) who finished in a tie for 19th places with a 162 (80-82). Junior Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Lake) picked up a tie for 37th with a 169 (85-84). Senior Shane Kiselis (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) carded a 170 and tied for 39th after an 87-83.
Senior captain Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) added a 178 (88-90) to finish in 47th, while rookie DJ Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) posted a two-day total of 182 (88-94) to finish in 49th .
