Trio of Records Broken at UAlbany
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Outdoor Track and Field, preparing for next month's Empire 8 Conference Championships, continued its local tour on Friday at the UAlbany Spring Classic.
The Gators tallied a trio of program records and 15 top-15 finishes at the meet, which featured multiple Division I institutions including Binghamton, Colgate, and the host Great Danes.
Freshman Catherine Newkirk (Marathon, NY/Marathon) broke the program record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.01.
Freshman Mia Paniccia (Rotterdam, NY/Mohonasen) set the school record in the hammer throw with a mark of 37.89m. The toss was good for ninth out of 18 entries.

Freshman Cesar Hernandez (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) completed 400m in 54.32 to finish eighth, while senior Dylan Lawless (Slingerlands, NY/Guilderland/HVCC) dashed 100m in 11.75 to place 15th.
