Devine Tabbed the NEVC and E8 Player of the Week
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Volleyball middle blocker Evan Devine (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) was chosen the New England Volleyball Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Saturday, April 4.
The sophomore, also selected the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week, registered 33 kills on .588 hitting, five aces, nine total blocks, three digs, and an assist in the 3-0 week.
Devine heads into Wednesday's NEVC Championship Tournament Quarterfinal at SUNY Potsdam ranked third in the Conference with a .385 hitting percentage.
This marks the third-straight spring that the Gators (13-16/4-3 NEVC), winners of six of their last seven, have qualified for the NEVC Playoffs.
