ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Volleyball was upended 3-2 by visiting Elms on Wednesday evening.
The Gators, which wrapped up a stretch of six-straight home matches tonight, had seven players tally at least four kills in the non-conference action.
Sophomore John Lindheimer (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) topped all players with 20 kills on .239 hitting. The outside hitter, who had double-digit kills for the third-straight match, added 13 digs, a pair of blocks, and two assists.
Junior opposite Dylan Fox (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) registered 17 kills on .279 hitting, nine digs, three assists, and a block.
Junior outside hitter Sean Pingelski (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) contributed 10 kills, six digs, and two blocks, while sophomore setter Anthony Guetti (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) recorded 58 assists, four kills, two assists, two blocks and elevated seven Blazer attacks.
Junior right side Nicholas Uschmann paced Elms (10-2), now winners of five in-a-row, with 16 kills on .200 hitting. He was one of three Blazers with 10 or more kills.
RSC (2-10) is back on the court on Saturday at the Ramapo tri-match. The Gators will also face John Jay.
