Sage hosts Fall Gator Invitional and takes home 4th place
Ravena, NY--The Sage College's men's golf team hosted the Gator Fall Invitational on Saturday at the Sycamore Country Club. Concordia College won the team title after shooting a round of 324 on the par 72, 6,610 yard course.

Purchase College's freshman Rory Mazur (Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefield) was the medalist after shooting a 75. St. Joseph's freshman Christian Bleck (St. James, NY/Chaminade) also shot a 75, but Conger was declared the winner on a pair of tie-breakers.

For the Gators, senior captain Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) was the low scorer with his round of 78, just one stroke ahead of junior Richie Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) who posted a 79. Junior Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Lake) carded an 83, while rookie DJ Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown), posted a 94 on the day. Junior Gerard Beaudin (Delmar, NY/Home Schooled) was next for the team with a 109, while junior Sarah MacArthur (Ancram, NY/Taconic Hills) made her first appearance for the Gators and shot a 119, while playing from the men's tees on the day.
Sage returns to action on Saturday, October 6 competing at the Hamilton College Invitational.
