Gators open action at Saint Rose Fall Shoot Out
Guilderland, NY--The Sage College's men's golf team competed on Friday at the first round of the College of Saint Rose Fall Shoot Out held at Pinehaven Country Club. The Gators stand in 10th place through the first of two rounds with a 340, while Division II Concordia College is in first after firing a round of 312 on the par 71, 6,574 yard course.
Leading the way individually is Concordia's Sam Deitte, who is one under par with a round of 70.
Sage's leading player was junior Richie Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) who shot an 80 on the afternoon, while junior Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Lake) had an 85. Senior Shane Kiselis (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) carded an 87.
Sage rookie DJ Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) posted an 88 for the day, as did senior captain Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes).
