Sage Golfers open spring play at Concordia Spring Fling
Thiells, NY ---- The Sage Colleges men's golf team opened the spring season at the Concordia Invitational at the rain soaked Rotella Municipal Golf Course. Skidmore College took home the team title with a round of 299 for the day and had the medalist as Ryan Lloyd shot a 71 for the day.

Leading Sage on the day was sophomore Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) as he shot an 85 for the day. Sophomore Dan Schulz (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin Perth) shot 86, while junior Shane McGowan (Schenectady, NY/Amsterdam) had a 91 for the round. Junior Nick Osowicki (Amsterdam, Amsterdam) posted a 92 for the Gators. Junior Pat Lanoue (Troy, NY/Hoosick Valley) added a 94 and junior Mason Wallace (Latham, NY/Shaker) rounded out the day with a 95.
Sage returns to action on April 9 hosting the Sage Invitational at Sycamore Country Club in Ravena, NY. The event commences with a shot gun start at noon.
