Farmingdale, NY ---- The Sage Colleges men's golf team competed
at the Farmingdale State Invitational at the Beth Page Red Course
on Friday. The host Rams of Farmingdale State won the team title
with a 302 for the round, while also producing the medalist in
Chris Arnold, who shot a 72.

Sage's rookies Zach Meade (Tupper Lake, NY/Tupper Lake) led the Gators with his round of 80. Junior Nick Osowicki (Amsterdam, Amsterdam) and sophomore Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) each posted an 84 for the day. Junior Shane McGowan (Schenectady, NY/Amsterdam) posted an 86 for the day, while freshman Rich Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) had a 90 for the day of action.
Sage returns to action on October 2 hosting their first-ever Sage Fall Invitational at Sycamore Country Club in Ravena, NY. The six-team event commences with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
