ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Soccer hosted their annual 'Gators Aid Game' on Saturday during their Empire 8 Conference matchup against Nazareth, where they supported local charities that provide new and gently used sports gear for underprivileged athletes.
The Gators (3-8-2/1-5-1 E8) fell 3-0 to Nazareth (5-5-2/3-2-1 E8) in the Saturday afternoon conference matinee.
Sophomore goalkeeper Hailey Blake (Schenectady, NY/Colonie Central) (2-2-1) stopped nine Golden Flyer shots.

Gator Bites with Papa John’s: The Gators are coming off of their third-straight appearance in the Empire 8 Conference Championship Tournament…RSC, the 2020-21 E8 champs, has 16 players back from last year’s squad…Junior goalkeeper Olivia Horan (Mechanicville, NY/Mechanicville), senior midfielder Jaclyn Benedetti (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes), and senior forward Gianna Viscusi (Duanesburg, NY/Schalmont) highlight the returning Gators…Horan commenced the autumn with a 0.95 career goals-against average, a program record, and sat third among RSC keepers with 11 career shutouts… Head Coach Garrett Cobb, now in his tenth season at the helm of the Gators, added 12 newcomers to the program.
