ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's soccer battled with Western Connecticut State University on Wednesday night, falling 1-0 to the visiting Wolves.
Sophomore forward Anna Shepard (Castleton-on-Hudson, NY/Columbia/Wagner) led the offensive attack for RSC (2-4/0-1 E8) with a pair of shots on goal in the 1-0 loss.
Junior goalkeeper Olivia Horan (Mechanicville, NY/Mechanicville) (0-2) stopped four opposing shots in the non-conference bout.
Shannon Anderson scored the lone goal for the Wolves (4-3-1) in the 67th minute of the Wednesday night action.
Up next for the Gators (2-3/0-1 E8) is a conference matchup with Alfred on Saturday.
