Bio

A sophomore transfer, Sean Lanza arrived after spending his freshman year at Oneonta State. He played in two games as a rookie for the Red Dragons. In his first season with Sage, he started 6 of 20 games played and tallied 6 points on 2 goals and 2 assists. During his junior year, Lanza appeared in 18 games with 17 starts, and he totalled 2 goals and 4 assists. He tied was tied for third for most assists on the team.

Lanza has totalled appearances with 4 goals, 6 assists and 14 points over the course of his career.

A graduate of Spackenkill High School, he was a Poughkeepsie Journal First Team All-Star and guided his team to a regional semi-final finish. A member of the National Honor Society, he is a biology and physical therapy major at Sage. He was named to the 2013 and 2014 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team as well as the Dean’s List at Sage.

The son of Michael and Concetta Lanza, he is joined on the team by his younger brother, Alex Lanza.
