Women's soccer falls short at Bard

Annandale-on-Hudson, NY – The Sage Colleges' women's soccer team travelled to Bard College on Wednesday night for a non-conference match. The host Raptors posted a 4-0 win to improve to 4-3-1, while Sage falls to 1-5 on the fall.

Bard held a 2-0 lead at the break as Gina Lewis connected for a goal at the 6:39 mark for her second goal of the season. Maddy Huggins connected for her fifth goal of the year at the 11:40 mark and gave her team a 2-0 lead at the break.

Sage's junior goalkeeper Teagan Waddingham (Coeymans Hollow, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) made a season-best 13 saves in suffering the loss.

Sage returns to action on Saturday, September 28 hosting Farmingdale State College in a 2 p.m. Skyline Conference match to be held at Colonie High School.
