Bio
In his freshman season, Kevin Saar played all 18 games with 8 starts. The Binghamton, NY native scored 5 goals and recorded 3 assists. Saar ranked second on the team in goals and fourth in points with 13. Saar had the most goals and points of any freshman, and was tied for the most assists by a freshman. He is tied for eighth in goals and third in game-winning goals in Sage single-season history.
A stellar soccer performer at Windsor Central High School, Kevin Saar arrives at Sage with a long list of career accomplishments. A two-time captain, he was all-division as a sophomore, junior, and senior. He was the recipient of the Windsor Soccer 100% Award as a junior and a senior.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the recipient of the Windsor Lions Scholastic Award four straight years. He also garnered the President’s Award for Educational Excellence and is a National Honor Society student.
He is majoring in business administration at Sage and is the son of Eric and Doneen Saar. Saar was named to the 2014 Skyline Conference Honor Roll for his effort in the classroom.
