The Gators (2-2) used a 4-0 run spanning to halftime break to help secure the home non-conference victory.
Senior attacker Mame Diba (New York, NY/Haldane) led all participants with four goals and an assist this afternoon. He became just the eighth RSC Men's Lacrosse player to reach 40 career goals in the win.
Sophomore midfielder Carson Pesce (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury) added a goal and two assists, while sophomore goalkeeper Jordon Hankel (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) (Win, 2-2) turned away 19 Albertus Magnus shots. He now has 310 career saves, just 17 away from moving into first place in program records.
After the Falcons (3-6) opened the scoring 2:29 into the second period, RSC netted seven of the next nine goals.
The Gators play next on Saturday at Saint John Fisher, currently ranked 11th in the latest USILA national poll.
