Bio

A returning letterwinner for the Gators, Melissa “Missy” Schneiderman has been an anchor of defense for the Gators. As a rookie, she performed in 102 sets in 31 matches. She added 276 digs with 25 aces. She was ranked ninth in the league in 2014 with her 2.71 digs per set average.

She will be looked to once again for an increased role to help anchor Sage’s defense while making a run as the Skyline Conference Champions for a second straight year.

She arrived at Sage after starring at Minisink High School. A two-sport star in volleyball and lacrosse, she led the 2013 volleyball team as a captain and earned team MVP awards for her outstanding efforts on defense. In lacrosse, she was also a team captain and garnered all-star team honors for Section IX. She helped the squad to the Section IX Class B title as well.

She plans on majoring in physical therapy at Sage and is the daughter of Debra Schneiderman.
