Bio

Named to the 2012 Skyline Conference Second Team as a rookie, Morgan Robinson will serve the 2015 Gators as a team captain. She is among the veteran letterwinners this fall and was part of last year’s Skyline Conference Championship Team in 2014.

She finished her first collegiate season with 174 kills and 167 digs, while adding 17 blocks. She played in 103 sets for the Gators and connected for 23 aces as well. Over the course of the season, she earned one selection to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll and averaged 1.69 kills per set as well, which was tops among the Sage newcomers in 2012.

In 2014, Robinson started 30 matches and played in 71 sets while tallying 89 kills with a 22 digs. She also posted 19 total blocks. She has played in 98 career matches heading into her senior season, while racking up 426 career kills 295 digs and 62 total blocks. The Gators should see Robinson move into the Top 15 in career kills this fall, while helping the team repeat as Skyline Conference champions.

She came to Sage after an impressive scholastic career that included her Shenendehowa High School team winning the Section II Class AA Championship twice.

A two-time scholar-athlete at Shen, she is majoring in forensic science at Sage. She is the daughter of David and Colleen Robinson.

At Sage, she was named to the 2013 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in the fall and was also placed on Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team in the fall and in the spring as a sophomore. She repeated again last season as a Skyline and Sage Scholar-Athlete and is a Dean’s List student and was awarded the Grace Van Der Voort Award in the spring of 2014. She is also active in Sage’s Chemistry and Biochemistry Club.
