Angela Gonzalez

At Sage:

• Angela Gonzalez was a Gator newcomer on the 2018 team.
• She started 6 of 19 games played and contributed a goal and an assist for 3 points.
• As a sophomore on the 2019 team, she started 17 of 18 matches and added 6 points on 2 goals with 2 assists. She added a game-winning goal as Sage bested Bard in non-conference play.
• She was rewarded for her play at midfield with a selection to the 2019 Empire 8 Honorable Mention squad.
• Gonzalez also attended the 2020 Empire 8 SAAC Retreat.
• She is active with Sage’s SAAC.
• As a member of the 2020-2021 team, she helped the Gators to the program’s first Empire 8 Championship.
• She was a starter in all 7 games with a pair of assists. She was named to the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team as well as the Empire 8 Women’s Soccer All-Tournament Team.
• On her career, she has played in 44 games with 11 points on 3 goals with 5 assists.     

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in nursing at Sage.

High School:

• A graduate of Hoosick Falls Central High School, she was a stellar scholastic performer in both soccer and lacrosse.
• A team captain and an MVP, she was an all-star and an all-state honorees and helped the soccer team to a first place finish in the league and a sectional crown.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Alferdo and Maria Gonzalez.
