Bio

A newcomer to Sage’s women’s soccer team, Jamie Hovendon is no stranger to collegiate soccer having played two seasons for the Salisbury University Seagulls. Tapped as Gator team captain for the 2015 campaign, she brings experience and leadership to the young Sage team and will certainly anchor the team’s backfield unit.

A 15-game starter in 2012, she had one goal that season, a game-winner and helped the team to an 11-5-2 mark. As a rookie defender on the 2011 squad, she played in 13 matches and helped the Sea Gulls earn an NCAA bid.

A graduate of Ocean Township High School, she was a stellar performer for the program and served as a team captain during her senior season.

She is the daughter of Theresa and Brian Hovendon.
