BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Russell Sage College wrapped up the road portion of its season with this afternoon's 21-3 loss at SUNY Brockport.
The Gators were knotted at two midway through the first period and trailed by only one, 4-3, after the opening quarter.
Senior midfielder Maddison Walter (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls)paced RSC with two goals and four draw controls in the Saturday Empire 8 Conference matinee.
Freshman midfielder Karaline McCarthy topped SUNY Brockport (6-8/5-2 E8), which held a 37-12 advantage on shots, with nine points on three goals and six assists.
RSC (2-10/1-6 E8) hosts SUNY Poly on Wednesday afternoon.
Gator Bites with Papa John's: RSC equaled a program-record for wins in a season with seven in 2024…Nine Gators return from last year's squad…Sophomore defender Alexis Crossman (Corinth, NY/Corinth), Walter, and senior defender Angelina Schaefer (Latham, NY/Shaker) were voted co-captains of this year's team.
