James Fitzpatrick

At Sage:

  • Member of the 2015 regular-season and tournament Skyline Championship team that went to the program’s first NCAA Division III Tournament.
  • Played in nine games his rookie season. The freshman recorded one shot against St. Joseph’s – Brooklyn.
  • Added a personal-best three assists as a member of the 2016 team in 19 games played. Helped Sage to a championship tournament appearance as a sophomore in the Skyline Conference and the Empire 8 in 2017 as a junior.
  • Played in three games in 2017 with three starts and has now played in 41 games at Sage entering the 2018 season.  

Academics at Sage:

  • He is majoring in nursing at Sage.
  • He is a Dean’s List student and was inducted into Sage’s Athletic Honor Society in April of 2018.
  • He earned Skyline Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll status as a sophomore and is a Sage Scholar-Athlete honoree.

 

High School:

  • He was a two-sport athlete in soccer and ice hockey at Ward Melville High School.
  • He served as a team captain in both sports and helped the soccer team to a league semifinal showing.
  • He was a member of the ice hockey team that was a New York State Championship finalist.
