Kelley Selected Empire 8 Conference Defensive Player of the Week
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Flag Football senior Aniyah Kelley (New Castle, DE/William Penn) was tabbed the Empire 8 Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Saturday, April 4.
The senior tallied 19 tackles, eight of which were for loss, and five sacks across three contests. She recorded seven tackles, four for loss, and two sacks as RSC triumphed for the first time as a program, a 31-28 home victory vs. Hartwick on March 31.
Offensively, Kelley hauled in 11 catches for 158 yards and three touchdowns during the 1-2 week. She registered seven catches for 100 yards and three tuddys in the Hartwick win.
The Gators (1-3/1-3 E8) play next on Friday at SUNY Geneseo.
