Gators Win Monday Night Thriller Over USJ
Russell Sage College baseball won a thriller on Monday evening over the University of Saint Joseph's in their second day of action in Florida.

DAVENPORT, Fla. – Russell Sage College baseball won a thriller on Monday evening over the University of Saint Joseph's in their second day of action in Florida.
The Gators (3-1) trailed 7-1 before scoring nine unanswered runs and picking up a 10-7 victory.
Junior Tyler Murray (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia/HVCC) shined out of the bullpen for RSC, picking up his second win of the season by punching out seven Blue Jays over four scoreless innings while only surrendering a pair of hits.
The bats came alive on Monday night for Coach Marsh's squad, as three tallied a pair of hits.
Senior Joe Karpierz (Latham, NY/Shaker/Xavier) drove in three runs on his two hits, including a bases-loaded ground rule double that gave the Gators the lead in the seventh inning.
Junior Jayden Kennedy (East Patchogue, NY/Patchogue Medford/HVCC) popped the first homerun of the young season, a solo shot in the sixth, while sophomore John Kelleher (Monroe, NY/Monroe Woodbury) ripped a pair of hits including a triple and drove in a run.
The Gators will enjoy a day off on Tuesday before returning to the diamond on Wednesday against Husson.
