Clinton, NY----The Sage Colleges men’s golf team competed opened the 2010 half of the season on Tuesday in a spring invitational at Hamilton College. The 12-team competition was held at Skenandoa Country Club and saw the hosts capture the team title with a 305 for the day.

Clarkson’s Jon Tedesco and Hamilton’s LJ Scourfield shared the title as the medalist after shooting a 74 on the day.

Sage did not finish in the team standings as only three Gators were able to compete at the meet. Senior captain Mike Triscari (Troy, NY/LaSalle Institute) turned in his third straight under 100 score as the senior shot a 94 to open the spring half of the campaign. Sophomore Joshua Weaver (Sandlake, NY) shot a 113 on the afternoon, while freshman James Cordi (Albany, NY/Colonie) added a 116 in his debut as a Gator.
