Bio
Catherine Dacey joined the Russell Sage College Cross Country and Track and Field coaching staff in the fall of 2025. The Hopkinton, Mass. native, will serve as an assistant for all six program.s
Dacey excelled on the cross country course and the track for nearby Union College from 2021-2025. In her four years with the Garnet Chargers, Dacey qualified for Nationals twice in Cross Country in 2023 and 2024. She has the top ten times in the College's 6k record book.
On the track, she set school individual indoor records in the 1,500m, the mile, the 3,000m and school indvidual outdoor records in the 800m, 1,500m and the 5,000m. Dacey, who earned her degree in neurosicence from Union in May 2025, also was part of program-record setting DMR and 4x800m relay teams.
