Amelia Taylor

 

At Sage:

  • Amelia Taylor has been tapped to serve as a team tri-captain in 2017.
  • A part of the 2016 Sage team that earned a return trip to the Skyline Conference Tournament, she had 119 kills on the season in 25 matches started.
  • She added 24 digs with 41 total blocks, which was third best on the team.
  • As a rookie in 2015, she helped team to Skyline Conference regular-season championship.
  • Played in 31 sets in 17 matches as a rookie with 26 kills.
  • She enters 2017 having played in 51 matches with 145 kills and 29 digs. She also has connected on 42 total blocks and has 170.5 career points.

 

Academics at Sage:

  • Is majoring in criminal justice at Sage and is a Dean’s List student.
  • Named to 2015 and 2016 Skyline Conference Honor Roll and a has a pair of selections to Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team in 2016 and 2017.

  • A graduate of Fort Edwards High School, Taylor was a stellar competitor in volleyball and basketball.
  • Earned First Team Adirondack League Honors and team MVP status.
