ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Tennis continued its Empire 8 Conference slate with a pair of road matches this weekend.
The Gators fell at Hartwick (9-1/6-0 E8), which has captured the E8 Tournament Championship twice in the past three years, on Friday and at Nazareth (5-4/3-3 E8) by identical 7-0 scores.
Junior Katie Snell (Valley Falls, NY/Greenwich) won a pair of games at number two singles on Saturday at Nazareth (5-4/3-3 E8).
Looking ahead, RSC (0-9/0-6 E8) hosts Utica on Wednesday afternoon.
Gator Bites with Papa John's: The Gators are coming off arguably their best season as a program in 2024…RSC tallied eight victories, including a program-record five Empire 8 Conference wins, and reached the semifinals of the E8 Championship Tournament…The fall marks the debut season with former Gator Taylor Gillespie '22 at the helm…This year's roster features four returnees and three newcomers…Senior Tirzah Spivey (Clifton Park, NY/Schenectady) headlines the returning Gators…The three-time All-Conference player, yet to play this season, went 13-0 at number two singles last fall.
