Emma Augustine

At Sage:

• Transferred to Sage from Tompkins Cortland Community College.
• A Gator newcomer in 2016, she saw limited time in goal.
• Made 5 appearances for Sage and was part of a defensive unit that racked up 9 shutouts, while sporting an impressive 1.32 GAA on the year.
• Named Sage’s 2016 Sportsmanship Award winner by the Skyline Conference.
• As a junior, Augustine had a break-out campaign and earned acclaim throughout the season. She was named the Empire 8 Defensive Player one week as well as the Hero Sports Player of the Week for her outstanding play in goal.
• She played 16 matches in goal in 2017 and finished with a 1.73 goals against average with 3.1 shutouts.
• She made 89 saves and finished with a .774 saves percentage and was named to the 2017 Empire 8 Sportswoman Team.
• To open the 2018 season, she currently tied for fourth in shutouts, while ranking fourth in career goals against average (1.53).

Academics at Sage:

• Majoring in physical education at Sage.
• A member of Sage’s Athletic Honor Society, she was also honored for her academic efforts with a selection to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List and the Dean’s List at Sage as a Sage Scholar-Athlete.

High School:

• A two-sport letterwinner at Ellenville High School in soccer and basketball.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Lee and Renee Augustine. Her father formed the first soccer team at Bluffton College and is a coach at Ellenville H.S. and produced a number of undefeated teams during his career.
